2022 is the year of technology and an explosion in digital sales ever since the pandemic struck. Because people have been restricted to indoors, they turned to online delivery of goods and services and of course food deliveries. But this has come at a cost of retail businesses, especially those who have no Card Reader payment systems. Even though restrictions are being lifted, customers are avoiding those that do not take payment by card. And those businesses that have not embraced technology, are being left behind, as those who look to the future are getting Card Readers, getting online to boost business.
Customers prefer to shop, but turn away when they have to pay cash which was on its way out since 2024. Those that have a small shop and not looked forward are loosing out and really do need to look again at their business model. Those who have made that change and are now online and a shop that take payments by card are now finding that they are gaining more sales and have even happier customers. Yes its slightly more work keeping their products up to date online, but they are finding bigger sales and profits.
